family garden style styleseed

‘Adaptable’, ‘inclusive’ and ‘relaxed’ set a great brief for a family garden. Well-chosen lawns, paths and furniture can be attractive but wear-resistant and plants can be safe to mis-kick a football at, touch and (occasionally) dribble on…but still bright and beautiful.

Annual flowers, salad crops and simple veg are fun to sow in spring, watch grow and enjoy that summer; winding paths and living willow tunnels fun to run or peddle down, and anything that encourages wildlife in. Sandpits become small pond once the kids are old enough, sheds double as hidey houses, and a teepee or treehouse will be a firm favourite until they leave for uni!
